Fresh Expressions Watford Area

Here at Christ Church and St Mark's Church of England Parish in Watford we are interested in exploring Fresh Expressions of being church in our neighbourhood.  Following the Vision Day we and our neighbours at North Watford Methodist Church and St Helen's Roman Catholic Church have decided that we will 'make haste slowly'.  At present we are beginning a process of looking at how we might better 'be church' in one area of North Watford. The first step will be to bring together members of our three churches who all live in the same locality.  We'll keep you posted on how things progress.

Meanwhile, whilst not a 'Fresh Expression' (more a Re-Fresh, really) we have been running a service on a Sunday afternoon designed to coincide with people going home from shopping and from children's sporting activities. It's called Sunday@5 and it incorporates elements of 'Messy Church' and a Café-style approach into a single act of worship.  If you want to find out more about it follow this link
